Without star figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a commanding result that virtually secures them a spot in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
Another victory in their upcoming match against Finnish KuPS should be enough to secure direct passage to the knockout stages, particularly following a prior setback against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Grasp the Moment
This match offered a platform for some of Palace's lesser-used talent to shine. Christantus Uche, making only his second start after joining on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a well-taken finish. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, scoring for the second consecutive match.

Despite heavy rain in Dublin, Palace rapidly established dominance. A flowing move in the 11th minute, sparked by Daichi Kamada's incisive pass, let Nketiah to lay on Uche for a simple tap-in.

The contest was as good as over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past some weak challenges before calmly slotting a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to make it 3-0.
Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring with his first touch, but saw his effort blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also missed a glaring chance, showing there is still room for development in his game.
A solitary worry for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, capping an otherwise positive night for the visiting side.
